Let God Prove It, identity, temptation, and the vindication of the resurrection

Satan tried to flip the burden of proof onto Jesus.

“If you’re really the Son of God, take care of yourself. Turn stones to bread. Jump. Bow.” In other words—act on your own. Prove it.

But Jesus didn’t take the bait. He stood on the Word. He trusted the Father. He waited. And that’s what this livestream is about.

Too many Christians today fall for the same trap. We start thinking our salvation depends on our own performance—our own strength. We forget that we’re in a covenant. We forget that God’s already declared who we are in Christ. And when we start trying to prove it, we stop trusting it.

Jesus wasn’t interested in proving anything to Satan—and we shouldn’t be either.

You don’t fight the devil by performing for him. You resist him by standing firm in what God has already said. He’s not fleeing from you—he’s fleeing from God.

I’m going to break this all down. Matthew chapter 4. The pattern. The premise. The resurrection as the final proof. We're going to hit it hard, and we’re going to keep it scriptural.

📖 Bible ready. Notes open. Let’s think about it.
