Don't call it a comeback; I've been here for years.

A few months ago, on this Podcast. Bill Haney revealed that Devin Haney has a secret weapon in this training camp for his upcoming return vs Jose Ramirez.
That secret weapon is none other than the living himself, Sugar Shane Mosley. In preparation for his fight against Jose Ramirez, Devin & Bill Haney felt the need to bring in what was needed to get the job done.

Shane Mosley is no stranger to big fights. Shane Mosley is no stranger to bouncing back from adversity inside the squared circle. I don't know if Shane will be the lead trainer in the fight.

What I do know is that this isn't a bad move. In a recent interview with Naji of Cigar Talk, Devin Haney revealed that he takes full responsibility for not making the proper adjustments compared to Ryan Garcia.

This is a significant change, as Haney was previously known to be trained by his father, Bill Haney. The training camp is in Big Bear, California, with the fight scheduled for May 2nd in New York City.

That's the first step to fixing the problem. This doesn't absolve Ryan of cheating. However, Devin understands that he could have nullified Ryan Garcia's best weapon.

Devin seems focused and locked in. Devin did it his way. Bill Haney has to get credit for doing it the independent way, similar to how Oakland rappers push their music independently without the backing of a major label.

Devin acknowledged that he had to change his environment. He was driving to training camp in his Rolls-Royce and waking up inside his mansion.

Waking up to silk sheets. For Devin to move his camp to Big Bear, California, says a lot. Shout-out to Bill Haney for granting independent media outlets like Cigar Talk media access.
