Passover or Easter? Does it matter?

The Resurrection of Jesus is key to Christianity. Does it matter if we call it or celebrate it at "Passover" or "Easter"?

The Romans got very upset with the early church at Passover week (Acts 12). And over time it got worse. Heated debates divided the church about when the resurrection should be celebrated. Does it matter? Well Constantine thought so and forbade all Christians from having everything to do with "Jewish feasts". It became a crime to celebrate Passover. In a short time pagan beliefs were synchronised with Biblical truths. Has this mixture weakened the church? Is it key to the church returning not just to Biblical roots but also the power of God?
