Resurrection Special

This lesson covers the historical context of resurrection, in ancient Israelite thinking. This is what the witnesses of Jesus' resurrection would have understood it as, in their context. We also emphasize the way in which the followers of Jesus who witnessed the resurrection spread this message - by their eye witness testimony. Eye witness testimony was both necessary and sufficient to prove anything legally in that day, a fact based on Torah. We can even nowadays use universally accepted historical facts (outside of the biblical text) to demonstrate to others (apologetics) that Jesus' bodily resurrection was real. That point is crucial to the Christian faith.
