The primary military operations in this sector are occurring on the right bank of the Oskil River and in the central area near Stepova Novoselivka. Concurrently, the southern flank remains relatively tranquil, with minimal information being reported from either side.

The following is a detailed chronology of combat operations.

By April 13, Russian forces had advanced Ukrainian units out of the forest belts north of Stepova Novoselivka, though they had not yet entered the village itself.

By April 17, Russian troops had advanced along the northern front, compelling Ukrainian forces to retreat from the environs of Zakhidne and reaching the outskirts of Doroshivka. This strategic shift resulted in the securing of a section of the R-79 highway.

Additionally, Russian units expanded their bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River, advancing through the residential area of Kamenka to the northeast.
