Authorities in Brisbane, Australia fined well-known Canadian pro-child-safety campaigner "Billboard Chris" and ordered him to cease a peaceful small protest in the 2032 Olympic City's main street late last month. Chris Elston was in Australia to fight a case against the country's online censorship agency, the eSafety Commission, which had previously censored him over an innocuous tweet. Many critics, in Australia and abroad, say the Commission is operating way beyond what is acceptable in a western liberal democracy that claims to adhere to basic principles of free speech.
