Whispers in the Smoke

The circle drawn, the candle lit,
The stars are watching where you sit.
The bones are cast, the ash has flown—
And in this breath, your fate is shown.

You came with questions, heavy-eyed—
But do you wish the truth, or lies?

I hear the whispers in the smoke,
The words unspoken, never broke.
I see the path you fear to tread,
The vow you made, the tears you shed.
I am the stillness, not the spark—
The Diviner speaks what moves the dark.

A feather falls, a mirror cracks,
The future stirs behind your back.
You chase a name, you seek a sign—
But signs will come when stars align.

Not all is lost, not all is won—
The thread begins before it’s spun.

I hear the whispers in the smoke,
The secrets fate will not revoke.
The truth is fire, the truth is rain—
The Diviner sings, then walks again.
No hand I hold, no fate I bind—
But still I see what's left behind.

Speak not loud, for echoes break.
Ask with silence, not for sake.
What you carry, what you yearn—
All returns when circles turn.

I hear the whispers in the smoke,
The dreams you buried when you woke.
You want to know, you want to see—
But truths are not always set free.
I am the veil, the final mark—
The Diviner walks… between the dark.
