Trump's tariffs are exacting some short term unease on Wall Street. But Wall Street isn't America, nor even "the economy". So multinationals not loyal to the USA are getting hit on Wall Street. Too bad. If it takes $5 more for gym shoes, $4 more for aspirin, and $2000 for a Mercedes, that is the price for US domestic jobs, pharmaceutical security, and silicon chips for the Army. Totally fine. Totally onboard.
