Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks: Catholic community seeks strong traditional values from next Pope

Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa) says there’s a sense that Catholics, particularly young Catholics, want the next Pope to lead with strong traditional values. “We don’t know who that’s going to be or where they’re going to be from,” she says. “But I think that people are looking for someone who is staunchly enmeshed in the Catholic faith and Catholic traditions and Catholic teachings.”
