Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth blasted media outlets for peddling what he called “hoaxes” and “hit pieces” after he allegedly sent details of the March 15 US attack on the Houthis in Yemen in a second group chat that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer, the New York Times reported.

The information he shared was nearly identical to what was sent in another chat that mistakenly included a lefty journalist, according to sources.
