Coffee Break 🎶 | Nibbi's Story: Part 1 - The Cute One with the Cold Stare

The soft clinks of glass and the steady drip of a coffee pot filled the little corner café. Nibbi sat in the window booth, one leg dangling, her striped dress neatly pressed, a sketchpad resting beside her untouched cup of hot cocoa. Outside, the sky was turning blue-gray, the kind of evening that made people walk slower.

She wasn’t drawing today.

Today was for people-watching—and waiting on her food.

Nibbi wasn’t in a bad mood. Yet. But her stomach was starting to talk, and the café staff was moving way too slow for her liking. That’s when her legendary mood-shift began. The signs were subtle—a slight shift in posture, her ears twitching once, then still.

And then… the stare.

That slow, icy, soul-checking stare that made even the boldest think twice. Purrla once called it "the bunny freeze ray." It was silent. Deadly. And never wrong.

Most folks saw Nibbi and thought, aw, how sweet. But that was only one layer. She was cute—but she was also calculated. She didn’t talk much unless she had something to say. And when she did? It hit. Sarcastic, honest, and cut with just enough bite to make people laugh uncomfortably.

But beneath all that? Nibbi cared. Deeply.

She loved hard. Her drawings told stories her lips never did. She’d give you her last candy if you were having a bad day—but she’d roast you first, just so you’d smile before you ate it.

And while she wasn’t the first to jump into something scary, she’d stand behind you, arms folded, ready to back you up if things went left. Especially if it was Purrla.

She sipped her cocoa. Still no food.

The stare activated.

The story? Just getting started.
