Delve into financial and organizational controversies within the Georgia GOP. David Cross revealed a $127K watch party expenditure, higher than the initially reported $87K, prompting backlash from Josh McKoon, who claimed the RNC reimbursed $70K, leaving a $56K net cost. However, FEC reports lack evidence of this reimbursement or related legal services. Questions arise about party excesses, like complimentary rooms for attendees. Highlights of the $177K paid to Double A Productions, linked to Chris Albrecht, a Kemp-appointed member of the Georgia Film Commission, since 2020 under the Shafer-McKoon administration. Security costs, including $12K to Hawque Protection Services for an event to oust BKP, are questioned. The state committee, sidelined from running GA GOP, Inc., a proposed committee to study the party’s corporate structure was developed, but no meetings occurred. Budget approvals were never sought. Additionally, McKoon’s team reportedly communicates with delegates without sharing the delegate list with other candidates, raising fairness concerns.

David Cross put out an email talking about 87K spent on a watch party but it was more, $127K. Now this angered Josh McKoon. Josh says that $70K was reimbursed by the RNC, so what he is saying is we spend $56K on a watch party. In the FEC report there is nothing in these line items, there is not anything about legal services or that the RNC paid the $70K. It is all a party. Wonder how many people couldn’t drive home that night and get a complimentary room.
Looking at the line items is Double A Productions, Chris Albrecht. Gov Kemp names 18 appointments to serve on the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Commission, Chris is on his committee. Now search the GOP FEC payments, $177,623 Double A has received from the GOP since 2020. This is through the David Shafer Josh McKoon administration.
The men in black at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, at the state committee members to remove BKP, Hawque protection services paid $12,255 for the security of the day.
The State committee does not run the GA GOP, Inc. The state committee voted to put a committee together to study the corporate structure of the party. There was never a meeting. John White or Josh would not answer, John was to facilitate and chair the committee. Nothing happened. The State committee was never asked to approve an expense or a budget.
There is still no delegate list, but it seems that Josh is sending out messages to delegates and teams are sending out messages for Josh to delegates. But the other candidates do not have the delegate list.
