Boone Co. School Dist. to cut Nursing Staff and legislators address the board

Boone Co. School Nurses speak out about job cuts with Health Services in the schools!
The district has already cut one Health Clerk position within the district, with plans to eliminate more. These folks are the most important employees in each school building. It’s life or death. Allegedly, Hauswald wants to hire more district employees.
Local legislators also spoke, introducing themselves to the new superintendent, encouraging the board to work with them, especially since 2026 will be a budget session.
