Zhangye National Geopark spans 124 square miles in the Qilian Mountains' foothills. Known for its vibrant hills and rock formations, this park is often celebrated as one of the country's most beautiful natural wonders.

The most popular spot is the Linze Danxia Scenic Area, while Binggou, along the Liyuan River, and Sunan Danxia Scenic Area offer more scenic views.

The surreal formations stem from layers of sandstone and minerals, shaped by tectonic activity. Over time, rain and wind have sculpted these into stunning pillars and ravines, making it arguably the world's most colorful park.
