Elden Ring PC | When you beat the boss and also die #eldenring #short #shorts #gaming

This has happened to me in the Dark Souls games in the past and I remember I would neither get the kill credit nor any drops. This is the first time it's happened to me in Elden Ring. I beat Elden Ring in the past on Xbox One. This is on PC.

This is the Draconic Tree Sentinel boss, encountered in the open world, so no fog gate, but from what I've seen others say online, this applies to all bosses in Elden Ring. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I summoned Mimic Ashes to assist. Notice that I die just before the boss does, but my Mimic Ashes survives. I don't think that makes a difference, but someone enlighten me if I'm wrong.
