Happy Resurrection Day 2025

Nearly 2000 years ago, our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, died on the Cross of Calvary, was buried & then 3 days later, He arose from the grave. All that He did was for us & for all that will come to Him. He died for all man's sins, but He arose so those who take Him as their Lord & Savior will take hold of the Power of His Resurrection in their lives.

We know this, as we understand that after He died, was buried & arose from the grave, even His disciples went back to THEIR old self ways. In John 21:3, Peter said: "I go fishing". Did you get that? This is AFTER the disciples SAW Him & KNEW He had risen from the dead!

Peter wasn't saying, he was going to go "fish for men", as Jesus commanded them to BE, if they followed Him...Peter said he was going to "fish" for natural things of this world. The other disciples, agreed & said "we also go with you". We know the rest of this story..."and that night they caught nothing". But, then Jesus appeared to them & COMMANDED them, instructing them to cast the net on the other side.

As they obeyed HIS commands, they caught a multitude of fish, so many, they didn't have the ability\power to drag\draw the net & had to get help with another ship! Then, John realized it was the Lord! When Peter heard it was the Lord, he girded his SELF with his "fisher's coat & cast himself into the sea, because he was NAKED! This means more than the physical, as people only seem to see.

It REALLY speaks of Peter being "naked" spiritually, because he was not clothed with what Jesus commanded him to BE...a fisher of men. Jesus didn't rise from the dead, so His people could continue in their self walk, "fishing" for worldly things. He rose from the gave, so His people could be like Him, walking & doing all that He did, while He was on the Earth.

It is time for God's people, to walk in the Resurrection power of Christ & come out of their tombs of self & be His vessels of honor in this hour. As we celebrate His resurrection this day, we must recognize the truth & reality of our lives, as we have been walking & now embrace the reality that we are called to be fishers of men! We as God's family, MUST take our places, being His body on the Earth.

"Father, in the mighty name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, we take hold of You & Your Truth in this hour. We recognize that we have been guilty of walking in this life, mostly to please the flesh of our self lives...not in being pleasing in Your sight. We now repent of our self ways & arise from the tomb of self, to be Your body, on the Earth in this hour.

We thank you for forgiving us of this sin, as we now put the self life behind us & walk forward, pleasing only You, in Jesus's mighty name, amen!"
