Brent Olson Sentenced • 2 Counts of Incest W/ 12 Year Old Boy & 9 Year Old Girl • SENTENCES

MISSOULA, Mont. - Missoula County Attorney Matt Jennings announced on Friday that Brent Olson was convicted of one count of incest following a five-day jury trial. Olson was charged with two counts of incest following disclosures from two juveniles in the winter of 2021. A nine-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually abused by Olson since she was four or five years old. Shortly after the girl’s disclosure, a 12-year-old boy reported that Olson abused him in the past.

Prior to trial, the Court severed the two counts of incest, requiring two separate trials and excluded evidence of the allegations against the 12-year-old boy from being admitted in the trial involving the girl. The second charge of incest against the male victim will be tried separately.
