In light of the incident in Pinole, CA where an Indian woman (allegedly) repeatedly called a Black woman the "N word" is being charged with a hate crime (and which we will discuss in a later episode, you all know we're backed up with the uploads), here is our take on Blackness in the Bay Area.

In the age of BLM and DEI initiatives, how has Oakland fared with its influx of Black politicians and their allies?

Trust us, we know there's some good Black politicians out there--problem is they are mostly Republican and mostly outside of California. We're talking about Oakland here. And Oakland has a problem.
