Earth is burning. The Reapers have taken over, and other civilizations are falling like dominoes. Lead the final fight to save humanity and take back Earth from these terrifying machines, Commander Shepard. You’ll need backup for these battles. Fortunately, the galaxy has a habit of sending unexpected species your way. Recruit team members and forge new alliances, but be prepared to say goodbye at any time as partners make the ultimate sacrifice. It’s time for Commander Shepard to fight for the fate of the human race and save the galaxy.

In this playthrough we cover:

Act 2:
With the Council unwilling to band together in support of building the Prothean Device, Shepard decides to bypass them and appeal directly to their military leadership. Their first lead is to attend a War Summit between the major races, where a 1,500 year old rivalry is about to be put to the test.

N7: Cerberus Lab:
Shepard is tasked with investigating a Cerberus-controlled facility on Tuchanka. Upon arrival, the team encounters heavy Cerberus resistance, including Assault Troopers, Centurions, and Combat Engineers. Navigating through the facility, Shepard uncovers data on Cerberus experiments and ultimately disables the lab's operations.

Grissom Academy: Emergency Evacuation:
Shepard responds to a distress call from Grissom Academy, which is under attack by Cerberus forces aiming to abduct biotic students. Upon arrival, Shepard reunites with Jack, who is training the students. Together, they fend off Cerberus attackers and evacuate the students. At the mission's conclusion, Shepard decides the students will serve in support roles affecting War Assets.

Citadel: Meet with Miranda:
During a visit to the Citadel, Shepard meets with Miranda Lawson at the Normandy Dock: Bay D24. Miranda expresses concern over her sister, Oriana, who has gone missing. This conversation sets the stage for future interactions and missions involving Miranda and her family. ​

Complete Omega DLC:
After completing "Priority: The Citadel 1," (uniting the Blood Pack, Blue Suns, and Eclipse) Shepard receives a message from Aria T'Loak, requesting assistance in retaking Omega from Cerberus control. Traveling to Dock 42 on the Citadel, Shepard meets Aria and begins the mission. ​
Upon arrival at Omega, Shepard teams up with Aria and Nyreen Kandros, leader of the Talons and the first female Turian encountered. The trio battles through Cerberus forces, encountering new enemies like the Adjutants—Reaper-Cerberus hybrids. As they progress, tensions arise between Aria's ruthless tactics and Nyreen's more compassionate approach.​
At a critical juncture, Shepard chooses to reroute power to Omega's civilian districts, prioritizing their safety over a direct assault advantage. This decision earns Nyreen's respect and strengthens the alliance with the Talons. ​
In the final confrontation, Shepard faces General Oleg Petrovsky, the Cerberus commander overseeing Omega's occupation. After defeating him, Shepard opts to execute Petrovsky, denying him any opportunity to escape justice. ​
With Omega liberated, Aria reclaims control, and Shepard's actions influence the station's future governance. Completing the DLC adds Aria's forces to the War Assets, bolstering the fight against the Reapers.
