Student Injury Covered Up – Comal ISD Integrity Test (March 2025)

At the March 2025 board meeting, I addressed integrity—doing what is right, even when it’s difficult.

My son broke both of his arms at Danville Middle School after falling off unsupervised bleachers. The assistant principal admitted to watching the footage—he even joked it looked like “The Matrix.” I asked for the video to send to our insurance company, Humana Tricare. But week after week, the excuses piled up… until just before the 30-day mark, the video was deleted.

That’s not integrity. That’s a cover-up.

It doesn’t end there.

I was threatened at Garden Ridge while dropping off my daughter—during the exact same time my wife was being retaliated against as an SLP. I was told I had lied. But Mr. Stanford provided the video—and proved I hadn’t.

So I filed a grievance. And in that hearing, the same HR director I reported tried to gaslight me while sitting on the panel. Meanwhile, district lawyers moved to seal the files with the Attorney General.

This isn’t about protecting kids anymore—it’s about protecting power.

So I went to JAG.

I told them about the retaliation, the deleted video, the insurance implications. The officer smiled and said, “Don’t worry about that.”

If JAG reaches out, I hope Comal’s lawyers are ready to explain how the district handles reports of IEP, 504, and FERPA violations. Because this is bigger than one family now. It’s a system.
