[REBROADCAST] President Donald Trump hosted an Easter Prayer Service and Dinner at the White House, marking a significant observance during Holy Week. The event, held in the Blue Room, brought together prominent Christian leaders, including Pastors Jentezen Franklin, Greg Laurie, Franklin Graham, and Robert Jeffress, as well as Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and other faith leaders and guests.

President Trump reflected on the significance of Easter, stating, “Nearly 2,000 years ago during this sacred week, the living Son of God entered Jerusalem in triumph... For our sake, He gave up His life.” He emphasized the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a cornerstone of Christian faith, proclaiming, “Three days later, Christ’s followers found the empty tomb. Jesus had defeated darkness and death and promised new life to all of humankind.”
