Nerves of Steel

Sorry about the interlacing digital artifacts but this film is pretty aged. This documentary was a special project I made with a feature spotlight focused on my fathers interview and insights. It helped inspire bravery, understanding and strength I learned from my dads experiences growing up. My Dad collected video clips and footage throughout his career. A few years after he retired I dug into his archives and decided to make this project which was my first documentary project.

Horse Racing is one of the most dangerous occupations athletes can experience. Broken bones, concussions and the threat of physical harm just go with the territory. Both men and women truly have to operate with nerves of steel.
