Dem Senators Say Trump Disregards Rule Of Law By Not Letting People Live In The U.S. Illegally
Posted • April 19, 2025: Remember Sen. Cory Booker's "history changing" 25-hour speech on the Senate floor that altered the course of the nation forever? Yeah, neither do the vast majority of Americans. That's partly why Booker has joined many other Democrats and moved on to making self-refuting claims about why Sen. Chris Van Hollen visited a deported illegal alien who is an MS-13 gang member on margarita night at the detention center. Van Hollen later had this to say: “His conversation with me was the first communication he’d had with anybody outside of prison since he was abducted,” Van Hollen said. “He said he felt very sad about being in a prison because he had not committed any crimes.” —— "He had not committed any crimes." Garcia had been in the U.S. illegally for many years, but overlooking that crime (and possibly others) is the crux of the Left's argument for bringing the illegal alien gang member back to the U.S.
The "rule of law" memo went out to the Dems, including Booker: Cory Booker @CoryBooker: “We must stand firm against Trump’s disregard for the rule of law. Thank you Chris for your leadership, taking a stand for Kilmar and for all of us.” https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Go1B-UyW8AAir8N?format=jpg&name=large —— Amy Klobuchar also got in on the "rule of law" action: Amy Klobuchar @amyklobuchar: “My colleague Chris Van Hollen went to El Salvador to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia and despite the obstacles, he succeeded. He is standing up for the rule of law and fighting for what is right.” —— Democrats preach about maintaining the "rule of law" except of course the law that says you can't come to the U.S. illegally. So Democrats are saying we should take a stand for gang members who beat their wives and are human traffickers? At least we know who the Dems prioritize (and law-abiding American citizens aren't near the top of that list).
He was here illegally. Why do you support criminals? Because Booker supports "rule of law," or something like that. It's good news for the Republicans that the Dems think defending criminal illegals (and not only that, but wanting to return some of the deported ones) will resonate for them in next year's midterms.
