22-250 Remington Hornady 55gr V-Max Sonic Pressure Wave

We evaluated the wounding capability of the Sonic Pressure Wave by embedding raw eggs into ballistic gelatin blocks. The top of the egg and the back of the egg protruded through the gelatin and was open to the atmosphere.

The shockwave from the bullet impacting gelatin did dent the egg, but there was no further evidence of damage done to the egg by this impact.
