Reel #222 Lights, Doors, Paint and a Herringbone Calamity

Hey folks welcome back to Renovate Ottawa. You can see in this short that this basement renovation is coming along. All the lights, electrical, primer and first coat of paint are completed. Some of the doors and the built-ins in the laundry are started. We now have to wait for the cabinet maker to build and install the custom built-in cabinets and floating shelves. As for the Herringbone hardwood floor, my client asked me to do it but even with my 45+ years experience it is not my expertise. I tried I failed! Sometimes you have to admit and realize you need to find another expert. So we are in the hunt for a very specialized installer for our pre engineered herringbone hardwood floor. Stay tuned as it won’t be long before this basement renovation is complete.
