The Sign of the Prophet Jonah

Jesus was crucified and buried before the High Sabbath, and then resurrected 72 hours later near the end of the weekly Sabbath. The women found the tomb empty on Sunday morning and that is when He appeared to them as our resurrected Lord and Saviour.
