STEPHEN A. SMITH ASKS STEVE BANNON: WHERE DO BLACK AND LATINO AMERICANS FIT IN TRUMP’S VISION FOR AMERICA?

Bannon: When everybody ran in the 1960s and fled to the suburbs, my parents stayed. And the reason was simple. It does not matter if you are Black, whatever, you are a neighbor. And you see the hardworking folks in that neighborhood. They are American citizens, and they deserve a better deal than everybody else. This country comes first. Her citizens come first, regardless of your ethnic race or your religion.

All they are asking for, the citizens in our country, they are not asking for a handout. All they want is a piece of the action. And it is on us to deliver that for them. If we give them a piece of the action and actually turn a capitalist system that currently has very few capitalists in it into one that brings them in, with ownership of real assets, ownership of financial assets, and understanding their own country, they will not have to compete against foreign labor on the soil that generation after generation their families have fought and died for and built communities on.

That is the sunlit uplands. Once we deliver that, this country is going to be on the right track. And that is why I support having

around as long as possible because he is an armor piercing shell to the elites that rule this country.
