Packers participate in Giving Tuesday
Packers Wide Receiver Randall Cobb made his contribution to Paul’s Pantry. Cobb donated $15,000 and 50,000 bowls of soup to Paul’s Pantry so people in need can have a meal this holiday season. After Cobb made the donation, he then helped box food that will be given away. He said it’s always import, especially during the holidays, to help the community. "What better time to be able to come during the holidays and spend some time with you all and show our support from the packers. I feel very honored to be a part of the Campbell’s Soup and give 50,000 bowls to Paul’s Pantry. Cobb mentioned he hopes the soup donation will help keep them warm in the coming months. The Red Cross held a blood drive Tuesday at Lambeau Field's Legends Club. The organization saying the winter months is one of the most challenging times of the year to collect enough blood donations. Leaders say they're hopeful for a big turnout. “It's absolutely perfect timing, we're really grateful that the Packers have allowed us in today and we're really looking for a great turnout we're looking for 354 donations today,” says Red Cross rep Laura McGuire. McGuire says you can also donate to the Red Cross by becoming a volunteer or by monetary donations as well.
