Stand4THEE Friday Night Zoom April 18th - Plot Thickens

While doing investigation on possible legal actions against Mark Carney, it was discovered that a regulation does exist to modify the greenhouse gas fuel charges under Schedule 2 of the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act. You can read that here: https://tinyurl.com/jspmxndc. Though this exercise, we have made some shocking discoveries;
1. The Liberals have been passing DOZENS of regulations while the house has been shuttered.
2. The Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act was passed under the 2018 Budget and Implementation Act, sponsored by Bill Morneau. This was the same bill that altered the Quarantine Act so no Parliamentary oversite was needed to create regulations under it.
3. The debate on the GGPPA was heated and leaves some questions regarding information that was never presented to the MPs tasked with passing this bill.

Furthermore, while this isn’t to promote any party as they are the root issue in Government, however, Pierre Poilievre brought up some interesting points during the debate. You can read that here: https://openparliament.ca/debates/2018/6/14/pierre-poilievre-1/.
This leaves the question as to whether this tax is lawful.
