Paul warns of the perilous times in the last days of the dispensation of grace just before the Rapture. In the last days people will return to the pagan idolatry that existed among Gentiles prior to Paul. Departing from Pauline truth began in Paul’s lifetime.
The danger is spiritual because only about 1% of Christians are Pauline in their understanding, most are in the snare of the devil following Peter or mixing Peter and Paul. Satan has many sharing the wrong gospel (John 3:16 or Acts 2:38).
Satan had denominations put water into our spiritual baptism (Rom. 6:3, 4).
All modern Bibles hide the mystery given by Christ to Paul.
Satan had corrupt Bibles printed and tried to slander the true King James Bible.
In Paul’s day some rich women hosted Bible studies in their homes and hired teachers to teach their group. The false teachers preyed on women who were loaded with sins for the sake of money and prestige not because they cared about the truth of Christ. These men were deceived the women by teaching Christ’s earthly ministry and the gospel of the kingdom on earth.
Today false teachers creep into denominational churches or homes via social media.
The knowledge of the truth is that God is forming to body of Christ during the dispensation of grace to live in heaven.
God kept the dispensation of grace secret (a mystery) from Satan so he would not prevent the crucifixion of Christ (1 Cor. 2:6-8).
Just as the magician resisted God’s truth through Moses, the creeps resist God’s truth for this dispensation through Paul. Wrong dividers are exposed once we learn to rightly divide and we are astonished, shocked, speechless, and outraged at how successful Satan has been in confusing the body of Christ.
Timothy has known the holy scriptures since he was a child which are able to make him wise and save him from deception through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
It is Jesus Christ who had the faith to accomplish the cross and be resurrected so believers could receive His Spirit.
Jesus Christ made provision for the two sets of instructions that His earthly and His heavenly people needed.
