Flipping the script when things go wrong in small business

👩🏻‍🏫My apprentice had her first class to teach all set up…

And then she canceled it. 😵

This apprentice is passionate about the local plants where she lives & share with her clientele how to use those plants medicinally.

✨She had a magical experience planned, and then things fell apart due to natural forces.

When things like this happen, we get triggered.

We get scared.

👀We go into amygdala hijack, and we can’t see options.

At our monthly circle, we talked this out.

We strategized how that same class could look a bit different and still be successful.

➡️More importantly, we expanded the one class into a masterclass series that will not only expand her opportunity to serve but also her income.

This is why mentorship is so important.

When things go wrong, it’s crucial to have another perspective on how to work the problem.

🚪I know what this apprentice is capable of, and what she was seeing as a barrier, I knew was a door.

These are the kinds of shifts we make in Rooted Disruption Apprenticeship.

Comment “apprentice” if you are ready to stop struggling alone.
