Body Armor?!! For most people, there's never been a reason to wear it. However, some, myself included, have worn body armor on a daily basis. It becomes part of your daily routine. For new viewers, my back ground is that I was a Green Beret for 25+ years, and I spent much of that in what is called a CIF/CRF Company for 5th Special Forces Group. Body Armor was part of our daily life. We got new multi-hit plates almost every deployment, because they would fail x-ray inspections. We went through LOTS of plates. I never cared the brand, just that my unit was getting us the best plates available. Now that I am a FAG (Former Action Guy), I have the opportunity to meet the great companies that provide USSOCOM with all the great gear we need. There are lots of Armor companies, but there are only a few names that pop up often as having truly reliable products.
