Amazing Grace (A Palm Sunday Message)

It was a time of great joy that in the following week quickly turned into a great tragedy. As Jesus rode into Jerusalem the people were shouting and celebrating the arrival of the Messiah, the Jewish king. But sadly, they were looking for the wrong kind of king. They were looking for someone who could save them from Roman rule, not save them from their sinful condition. As that reality sunk in, they quickly turned their words from “Hosanna,” to “Crucify Him!!”
On this Palm Sunday, Pastor Rick will take us, not to the accounts of the triumphal entry, but rather to an awesome characteristic of Jesus that was displayed then, and is still a dynamic part of His working for us. Today we want to consider God’s, “Amazing Grace.”
