This Berean Bible study looks at the cost of growing and maturing as a disciple of Yeshua. Many of today’s believers think that Yehovah will grow them and mature them, waiting on some kind of gift from heaven. They can just come to church and sit on the bench and God will pour out the needed spiritual maturity needed for success, and that they just need to wait on God.

God’s Word tells us that anyone that wants to be used by God in His Kingdom, will need to be actively seeking The Holy Spirit in their life, and will need to be exercising their faith and trust in Yehovah.

Taking up your cross daily, becoming an acceptable sacrifice to Yehovah, avoiding carnal behaviors, practicing forgiveness, and showing mercy to others, are all impossible to do without the power of the Holy Spirit. Be filled with the Holy Spirit every day and practice the things that lead to spiritual growth and a strong faith in Yehovah.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
