Christianity in Danger: They Want to Ban Processions for Offending Islam

A new threat looms over Europe, this time not with weapons, but through courts and political correctness. A group of Muslims residing in the United Kingdom, but of Iranian origin, has announced its intention to take Spain to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. The reason? They claim that the traditional Holy Week processions—one of the most deeply rooted cultural and religious expressions in the Christian world—are offensive to Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.

What for millions of believers in Spain and Latin America represents faith, devotion, and tradition is now under attack by those who, backed by European laws, seek to censor the Christian roots of the continent. The images of Our Lord and Our Lady, carried with reverence by police officers, soldiers, and citizens, accompanied by hymns, prayers, and chants, are seen by this group as "provocations" that must be removed from public space.

But this is not an isolated threat. It is yet another sign of how Europe—once a proud defender of its Christian heritage—is now giving way to the demands of minorities who, far from integrating, impose their beliefs at the expense of our freedoms. This trend has been fueled for years by progressive governments, globalist bureaucrats, and an elite disconnected from the reality of the average citizen.

America must take note. What is happening in Europe today could be a preview of what’s to come if we don’t defend our values. This is why the strong and clear leadership of President Donald J. Trump remains crucial. Under his administration, religious freedom was protected, Christian roots were honored, and threats to our culture were faced without fear
