THE ONE WHO WAS REDEEMED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN

Luke 23:42-43 New King James Version
42 Then he said [a]to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN YESHUA!!!
As I am typing this right now, it's been about 46 minutes since it would be officially noted that Christ was hung on the cross, and by 3:00 PM today it will be noted that that was when he officially died for your sins and for mine. However, the thing that I find the most precious here, is the conversation that is had between Jesus and the second people on the cross in these verses above. This thief feels forgotten and abandoned, and asks Jesus out of complete faith to remember him when Jesus goes into his Kingdom, and the response that he gives this thief is one to take joy in. That God had not forgotten him and was not going to!

I think that's why these questions from this morning’s devotional are not only challenging my heart but helping me to remember that precious fact. That God hasn't forgotten me and never will! As such, I'd like to invite you to read these questions carefully, think about them, and answer them honestly to yourself. But most of all, I pray that God speaks to you through these questions and lets you know that He hasn't forgotten you.

How will you turn to Jesus today and permit Him to turn your lament into praise?

As I’ve said before, and will continue to say, salvation is a FREE GIFT from God. It is one that cannot be bought or earned, because if so, then Christ would not have died for us, and salvation wouldn’t mean a thing! I invite you all RIGHT NOW, to call on His name today, seek His face, ask Him to forgive you of whatever sins you’ve committed, and He WILL forgive it!! He doesn’t care about your lifestyle, skin color, faith, or ethnicity what you’ve done, where you’re from, or anything about you, just that you let Him in your heart.
