On 26th June 1974, the very first scan of a BARCODE at Marsh Supermarket in Ohio, USA, transformed grocery checkout.

50 Years ago, = (2024) the GS1 barcode was scanned for the first time, and since then each "beep" makes it easier and safer to "BUY AND SELL" products.

Every manufactured product in the world will have a 2d QR Code on it.
GS1 Barcodes will be transitioned out.

So a retailer shop will receive all his products whether that be a supermarket or whatever and every product will have a QR only. The retailer will then have to have a Hand held scanner that scans QR codes in order to register their products on their computer system and then to on sell the product to consumers.

I was at a office stationary shop yesterday and I asked the salesman if his hand held scanner scanned QR codes. He said no. I explained what was coming by 2027.

Ever since Barcodes appeared on products they are called here on the GS1 a digital identity product.

If there plan, the final destination of the QR code is to be you and me in order to "Buy and Sell" it stands to reason that before that day comes they would want every product manufactured to have a "Visible Digital Seal" QR Code on it also.

The Global elite do consider the Global population (individuals) as a collective product.

2D QR Codes Products is Phase 2.

Industry has set a date to make the transition to accepting 2D Barcodes
(QR Codes) at point of sale (POS) or point of care (POC) - referred to as Sunrise 2027.

By the end of 2027, retailers would need to ensure their POS Systems are equipped with scanners capable of reading QR codes.

The shift has already begun with the new technology being tested in (48) countries across the world.
