Senate Bill 536 was supposed to shake things up by dismantling the Arkansas State Library Board—a crew some say is packed with radicals who turn a blind eye to sexually graphic books in our libraries. It sailed through the Senate, but slammed into a brick wall in a House committee, tanking 7-8. Looks like it’s dead in the water. But why? And what’s at stake? We’re digging into the mess—how these books creep into our shelves and what they’re doing to our kids and culture.
