ℹ️Was a pretty good movie, nothing great but not bad, good suspense and good story. The movie is relatively free of adult content, though it includes some ⚠️rude behavior from a child toward the mother, including the use of the word ⚠️bitch. The story is geared toward an older audience (i.e., not young children); however, mature older children who won’t mimic the behavior or language and can handle the film’s fear factor may be able to watch it without issue under parental guidance.

Bad Language:
1) 34 minutes 24 seconds - Bitch

Rude Behavior of Note:
1) Son does not listen to his mother.
2) Son calls his mom a bitch.

Plot:
The Woman in the Yard is a psychological horror film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Sam Stefanak. Ramona (Danielle Deadwyler), a widowed single mother disabled after a car accident that killed her husband, David, lives with her two children, Taylor and Annie. She is strict and emotionally distant, struggling to connect with her kids. A mysterious woman draped in black repeatedly appears in their front yard, delivering cryptic warnings like “Today’s the day” and unsettling messages. This woman uses shadow magic to attack the family’s dog, Charlie, who goes missing and is presumed dead. Ramona tries to protect her children from the woman, who seems to know secrets about David’s death.
