An 80-year-old woman fell from a sixth-floor balcony

The news has not been confirmed, as Russia is not known for being a particularly reliable country when it comes to the accuracy of the information disseminated from there. However, there have been similar cases where people have survived falls from great heights.

For example, in July 2024, a 22-year-old woman in Novosibirsk fell from the 13th floor of a building and survived with minor injuries. The incident was captured by security cameras and went viral on social media. The woman landed on a grassy area, which may have cushioned her fall.

In another case, in August 2019, Alexa Terrazas, a 23-year-old university student in Mexico, fell from the sixth floor while performing an extreme yoga pose on the edge of her balcony. She suffered multiple fractures and underwent an 11-hour surgery. Doctors estimated that her recovery would take up to three years.
