Anthony Mackie says 'Sneaks' features 'beautiful message' about family

As one of the first animated films to explore the cultural obsession with sneakers, "Sneaks" is poised to make its theatrical U.S. debut on April 18. Actor Anthony Mackie, who voices designer sneaker Ty, said the movie features themes of sibling love and self-discovery. "The idea of this heartwarming story about two siblings who happen to be sneakers and become separated was incredibly exciting," he said.
