The Russian BMD-4M infantry fighting vehicle receives an upgrade to the programmable 30 mm cannon

The vehicle has an adjustable hydropneumatic suspension, which enables a ground clearance of 130 to 530 mm. This allows it to drive over difficult terrain such as the soft black soil (chernozem) of many regions in Ukraine, where wheeled vehicles often get stuck. Thanks to its two rear water jets, the BMD-4M can cross rivers without preparation - an advantage for unexpected breakthroughs.
