Why Can't Guys Get Testosterone? Remember Interconnections & Cell Nutritional Status First

Testosterone replacement therapy, which uses synthetic testosterone, has become increasingly popular. The number of prescriptions for this treatment grew from 7.3 million in 2019 to over 11 million last year. "It's exploding," CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook said Tuesday on "CBS Mornings Plus."

However, in places like Canada and many places with "socialized medicine" it's incredibly difficult, if not impossible, for men to obtain exogenous testosterone. Meanwhile, women and gender-questioning people are almost routinely prescribed hormone replacement therapy while men's "andropause" concerns and symptoms are routinely dismissed.

Male menopause, or “andropause” for the past 20 years has started to gain recognition, but still many medical practitioners refuse to acknowledge it in a 10 minute, heavily bureaucratic office visit. Therefore, many people are increasingly turning to “natural methods” to boost testosterone, but forget about all the other foundational components, processes and elements in the body that need analysis much like a Botanist would do for a plant before first choosing testosterone-boosting focus.

What is “andropause?” It’s group of symptoms, such as tiredness and reduced sexual desire, seen in some middle-aged or older men, linked to a slow drop in testosterone levels.

What are some lesser-known causes of possible causes to low free, total and other forms / measures of testosterone?

1. Increased aromatase activity due to aging
2. Changes in liver function
3. Lack of zinc
4. Obesity
5. Excessive alcohol consumption
6. Estrogen imbalance caused by drugs
7. Consumption of foods or substances that boost estrogen
8. Breathing in environmental pollutants.

So, as you can see, there are many interconnections between “low testosterone symptoms” that show it’s nowhere nearly only testosterone we need to focus on.
