The Chose: Last Supper, Pts 1-3 are in theaters now. Based on the popular TV series: The Chosen the Last Supper movie is Season 5 of that series and concerns itself entirely with the events of Holy Week, including the Passion of Christ.
Another movie, October 8 is also in theaters. It is a documentary about how rampant antisemitism around the world, especially on school campuses was exposed in the days and weeks after the horrific attacks in Israel on October 7th, 2023. I’m ashamed to say, I only found out about this movie by chance, when looking for another movie. I watched in a movie theater, alone. I really wish the movie had gotten the press it deserved.
Even more current is another story of from the current dark chapter in the history of antisemitism. A Wisconsin teen is charged with the murder of his parents in a bizarre plot to kill President Trump and overthrow the US government. His alleged ties to a neo-Nazi group and support for Ukraine suggest left-wing influences.
