The Threads of Never

Before the first light kissed the stone,
I sang the names the gods disown.
The thread was drawn, the wheel began,
The stars forgot, but I still stand.

Oh seeker born of breath and flame,
You walk a road without a name.
Turn not to sky, nor ash, nor sea—
The key you seek is part of thee.

When rivers climb and roots descend,
The first shall break, the last shall mend.
The tower sleeps, the door shall wake,
When silence learns how much to take.

Mark the hour the raven weeps,
When dreamers fall into their sleep.
A shadow crowned will hold the blade,
And light will beg to not be saved.

Oh seeker born of breath and flame,
You walk a road without a name.
Do not ask, and do not flee—
What must become will come through thee.

Not all that ends begins again.
But all that is, has always been.
