Hey everyone, Danny de Hek here—aka The Crypto Ponzi Scheme Avenger—and today, I’m diving headfirst into a live webinar that could either blow the lid off a major scam… or turn into yet another recruitment pitch in disguise.

Here’s what’s happening…

Steve DeWitt, a former employee of Troy Warren and his dodgy outfit Local City Places, claims he was fired on January 9th, 2025. We don’t yet know why—but that’s part of the intrigue. What we do know is that he’s now gone public, stating that he's been in contact with several government agencies including the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), Industrial Commission of Arizona, and even federal regulators like the SEC, FBI, and CFTC. He’s urging everyone who’s been burned by Troy Warren to file complaints.

Steve’s words:

“Please know that the authorities are on him... BUT MORE ARE BETTER – IF YOU HAVE NOT FILED A COMPLAINT YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST!”

Bold claims. But here’s where things get interesting (or confusing): In one breath, Steve is promising to reveal the full truth about what really happened behind the scenes with Troy Warren. In the next breath, he’s teasing that he might be presenting a new money-making opportunity. Yep—classic “I left the last scam, now here’s the next one” vibes.

So, naturally, I’ll be attending this so-called tell-all webinar. I’ll stream it live here on the channel (pending legalities, of course), and I’ll do my best to record everything I can for those who can’t make it.

The event is titled “THE TRUTH (private webinar)”, and it’s being held through GoTo Webinar on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM MST. Attendees were asked to keep the link private—which is always a red flag when someone claims to be going public with revelations but hides behind exclusivity.

And let’s not forget: this all surrounds Troy Warren—a man with a long, messy history of shady ventures. From MasterCard lawsuits, fake charity startups, and scammy directories like Local City Places, to a litany of complaints involving gas card rebate schemes—his name is practically synonymous with “run.”

Is this the moment someone finally blows the whistle from the inside? Or just another grift cloaked in “truth-telling” theatrics?

I have no idea what’s going to happen in this webinar. That’s what makes it so fascinating—and dangerous. I’ll be keeping a sharp eye, recording where I can, and giving commentary as things unfold. If this turns into a smoke-and-mirrors pitch, I’ll call it out. If we get real evidence or confessions, I’ll break it down for everyone. Either way, you won’t want to miss it.
