“Please… Tell the Truth”: Rachel Morin’s Mother Blasts Sen. Van Hollen for Defending MS-13 Terrorist

D.C. (district of Criminals), April 16, 2025 — As Democrats scramble to defend illegal immigrants with gang ties, one fact grows clearer by the day: if President Trump is against it, they’re for it—no matter the cost to the American people.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) is currently in El Salvador, fighting for the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a deported MS-13 gang member and illegal alien the Left now calls a “Maryland man.” Meanwhile, the family of Rachel Morin, a Maryland woman and mother of five who was raped and murdered by another Salvadoran illegal, is left with silence, denial, and betrayal.

The optics are undeniable: Democrats are flying overseas to defend gang members while refusing to even acknowledge the innocent Americans being slaughtered at home.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called out this twisted double standard during a fiery briefing:

“Based on the sensationalism in this room, you’d think we deported a candidate for Father of the Year. Many in this country care more about an illegal alien MS-13 gang member than a Maryland mother brutally murdered by another illegal alien.”

It’s not just Van Hollen. The entire Democrat-media complex has locked arms to humanize violent criminals while vilifying anyone who dares to demand border enforcement, deportation, or accountability—including President Trump.

Let’s be honest: If Trump is against it, the Left will line up to support it—even if that means glorifying foreign criminals and turning their backs on the American families living next door.

“Abrego Garcia was a foreign terrorist. He is an MS-13 gang member. He was engaged in human trafficking. He illegally came into our country,” Leavitt said bluntly. “There is never going to be a world in which this is an individual who’s going to live a peaceful life in Maryland.”

But that’s exactly the world Democrats are trying to build. A world where Americans like Rachel Morin get ignored, while foreign criminals get sympathy, legal protection, and taxpayer-funded defense missions.

Rachel’s mother, Patty Morin, said it best as she walked out of the White House briefing room after reliving her daughter's brutal death in front of the press:

“Please… tell the truth.”
