China has reportedly instructed its airlines to stop taking deliveries of Boeing aircraft, marking the latest escalation in the ongoing trade war with the United States.

According to Bloomberg News, the Chinese government has also asked domestic carriers to halt the purchase of aircraft-related equipment and parts from American companies.

This directive follows Beijing’s decision to impose retaliatory tariffs of up to 125% on U.S. goods.

The move was a direct response to the Trump administration’s tariffs, which have reached as high as 145% on Chinese imports.
