When a carbon capture pipeline ruptured outside Satartia, Mississippi in February, 2020, Linda Garrett called 911, but the operator couldn’t help. She describes her harrowing account and how she escaped as emergency crews were evacuating more than 250 people from the area. Her testimony highlights the terrifying reality of carbon pipeline failures and the desperate circumstances faced by those trapped by these disasters.

Her interview is part of the John Birch Society’s new documentary UNearthing the Carbon Pipeline by Stand Your Ground Studios.
