Deborah Main is an Iowa farmer who has actively opposed the construction of carbon capture pipelines in the her state. A proposed pipeline was planned to traverse her 195-acre farm northeast of Sioux City, but she pushed back because of safety concerns and the environmental impact of the project. She calls carbon capture a government boondoggle that enriches private companies at landowners’ expense.

Her interview is part of the John Birch Society’s new documentary UNearthing the Carbon Pipeline by Stand Your Ground Studios.
